Biochemical Engineering of Lichens
A new project at the chair is the research of biosynthetic pathways in lichens and the pharmaceutical potential of lichen substances.
After months of intensive planning, Lisa Mutzberg (PhD student at the chair) was able to collect lichen material in the Nationalpark Harz during October with active support on site.
