  • 1992 - 1997: Promotion am Lehrstuhl Pharmazeutische Biologie an der Freien Universität Berlin, Deutschland mit dem Thema "Phenolische Inhaltsstoffe von Pelargonium sidoides DC. Und Untersuchungen zur Wirksamkeit der Umcka-Droge (Pelargonium sidoides DC. Und Pelargonium reniforme CURT.)."
